Cadence in Innovation

About Myself

Welcome to the Ready 2 Tack website. I'm Vincent Rikkink, the owner of R2T. My academic background includes studying Electronics at Twente University. Throughout my career, I've held positions in various companies specializing in High Tech mechanics, electronics, and software. In the nineties, I had the opportunity to work and reside in Switzerland, an experience that ignited my fascination with innovative quality systems.

Over the years, I've held diverse roles that have allowed me to build and restructure numerous Research and Development departments. Recognizing the value of this knowledge, I joined forces with Scienta to establish a partnership aimed at sharing this expertise with a wider audience.

About R2T

Tacking is a sailing technique employed by vessels aiming into the wind. In this maneuver, the boat turns its bow toward and passes through the wind, altering the wind's direction from one side of the vessel to the other. This adjustment enables progress in the desired direction despite the wind's opposition.

Metaphorically, tacking represents altering course to achieve a goal, even when facing challenging conditions, such as sailing against the wind. I chose this name because of my fervor for sailing, but also because I firmly believe that companies must remain prepared to adapt and innovate continually to maintain a competitive edge.
